The FIRST RECORDINGS of Goodbye Nautilus (aka American Studies). In 2008, Nick Volkart, Eric Shawn and Jeremy Gekov recorded this 5 song EP in Jeremy's bedroom. These here are the first gold songs written by Eric and performed by the band at their very first show at the Retox Lounge in San Francisco, January 2008. Included are fan favorites "Damn Japan" and "Bad Drunk."

Included as a bonus live track is "We Are The Ones,"* another early song, performed in 2009 at the Stork Club in Oakland, CA.
