about

American Studies, formally Goodbye Nautilus, recorded this EP as a demo in 2009. Self titled, the EP showcases the band's song writing chops in it's infancy, its love of classic rock hooks, epic guitar solos, and quiet, contemplative ballads. Recorded shortly after enlisting Ben Euphrat to the keys, the songs featured on this EP were all original Goodbye Nautilus tunes, played at various venues throughout San Francisco.
