AMERICAN STUDIES - Formed 2007 in San Francisco as Goodbye Nautilus; American Studies came about as a natural progression in 2009. The music is a Molotov cocktail of emotionally heavy lyrics mixed with a loud blend of indie, 50s/60s Pop, Garage & Post-punk. Never content to settle, live shows were highly charged and led to regular gigs around the West Coast and a wealth self-released material.
